When is an Osteopathic treatment recommended?
It is recommended to treat a horse at least 1 or 2 times per year to prevent problems from escalating. In some cases it might be recommended to treat the horse more often (high performance horse to keep the horse at optimal performance, horse that has some history of illness/ trauma, etc)
A local restriction in the horse’s body will in the long run cause bigger problems, like injuries or pathologies, which you obviously want to prevent.
