Anamneses
I will ask you (the owner) some questions about the horse, such as, the age, gender, medical history, medication, past injuries, problems you encounter while riding and while handling the horse, behavior changes, etc.
Inspection and examination
I will start by visually inspecting the horse and then examen the mobility of all structures of the horse’s body.
Treatment
Based on my findings, I will use technics that influence the visceral, parietal and cranio-sacral system, in order to release the structures. Most manipulation technics are soft technics that the horse enjoys, since it brings him/her release.
Aftercare
I will answer any question that you may have, give some advice and inform about how long the horse needs to rest before restarting its training routine.
Afterwards you will receive a report of my finding on the Equigate app.
The first session usually takes about 1.5 hours and the follow up session about 1 hour. It is required that the owner of the horse is present at all time.
The horse will need a period of rest (usually 3 days), during which it is recommended that he/ she goes out onto the pasture/ paddock (if it is a calm horse) and/ or hand walked. This allows the horse to find its balance and get used to the restored mobility.
After the period of rest, the horse may restart its training, it is advised to restart with some light training.
Decrease probability of illness.
Increase performance.
Longer lifespan.
Normalization of the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. This stimulates the normal functioning of organs.
Restore the supply of oxygen and nutrients to the tissues by removing blockages in the blood and lymph circulation.
It varies from horse to horse and how they react to the treatment.
In most cases 1 or 2 treatments are sufficient to resolve all problems. But when the problems have been present for a longer period, more treatments might be needed.
