About me

I was born and raised in Portugal, daughter of Dutch parents. 

Since I can remember I always loved animals, but the passion for horses came through my cousin that owned a pony, so I started begging my parent to let me take horse riding lessons.  

At the age of 10 finally started horse riding at a stud farm in Salvaterra de Magos where the love for horses further developed and never lost the ''horse virus''. Later I got my first horses and competed with two horses until Prix St. Jorge.

Studied Agricultural Engineering, but this just wasn't what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I always wanted to work with horses. 

I became in 2018 a Sport Horse Massagist, after studying at Massage Hippique.

In the same year, I moved to The Netherlands with my horses in order to work and study Equine Osteopathy at the Vluggen Institute. In 2022 we (me and my horses) moved back to Portugal and bought a little farm on which we build our own stable. 

I successful graduated at the Vluggen Institute in June of 2023 and got registered in IREO (The International Register for Equine Osteopaths EDO®).

Currently I am based in the north of Portugal, but treat horses throughout the whole country and regularly travel to The Netherlands to treat horses.

My mission is to improve the wellbeing of horses through Osteopathic treatments, but also by educating/informing the owners, so that you can enjoy your horse for longer and achieve the best results.
