Unfortunately, the profession of Equine Osteopath is not yet regulated, so in theory anyone can call himself an Equine Osteopath, this can of course become an issue.
To guarantee knowledge, capability, and expertise the trademarked “Equine Osteopath EDO®” (Equine Diplomat Osteopath) was created and to only be used by graduates of a standardized equine osteopathy educational institutions, so that anyone can check who is or who isn’t well educated.
All EDO® are registered at the IREO (International Register for Equine Osteopaths). All members must follow postgraduate educational accreditation to stay up to date and further develop.
Since I have successfully completed my education at the Vluggen Institute and passed all exams of the IREO, you can find me on the registry of the IREO.
